The place has character! ! I mean, I was lulled to sleep by the hum of a Cargill processing plant—kind of soothing in a weird way. gotta give it to the staff, they were really friendly and helpful, making our stay surprisingly pleasant.

Stag Do's Perfect Base

Staff were fantastic, especially Nikki and Chris, super friendly and helpful. The shower was amazing, really woke me up after last night's debauchery.

I had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back for events in the area, as long as I keep the lack of coffee amenities in mind.

Room was a total mess. We had a toilet that leaked and a shower that looked moldy. The heating was a joke—just a plug-in heater. One tap worked in the sink, and the carpet was sticky. I mean, I slept on top of the bed and avoided the shower altogether. The TV didn’t even have a remote. Honestly, it's rough, even for a budget stay.

The location allows for quick access to local pubs and attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Wi-Fi connection provided excellent speed, perfect for streaming and keeping in touch.

The overall cleanliness left much to be desired, with sticky carpets in common areas and dated decor that could seriously use an upgrade. Breakfast options fell short, featuring only light snacks like brioche without any hot meals available, which wasn’t ideal for fueling a busy day. Given the surrounding industrial view, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for a better backdrop.
